Our team at Ralph Lauren is always looking for meaningful ways to collaborate. We wanted to collaborate with someone who was true to our mission and purpose. Who other than Billie Eilish? We wanted to showcase how true to herself she is by designing pieces that came from her. After all, our founder once said “My thing was always about individuality and about creating a world – because you don’t just wear clothes, you live a life. You have style. You project who you are.”
The Birds of a Feather Capsule Collection is an opportunity to merge a modern approach to a timeless style. Billie wanted to have her own twist on the classic Americana aesthetic and showcase how you can shine when you take the best of both worlds and reinvent a classic.
The Collection
The Collection itself includes cargo shorts, thermal long sleeve shirts, a corduroy flat cap, three t-shirts designed by Billie Eilish, and several accessories. These pieces are inspired by Birds of a Feather, the latest hit on her newest album Hit Me Hard and Soft.

The Singer-Songwriter is famous for choosing comfort over style. We wanted to make sure she had both when it was time to design the collection. Billie opted for the versatility of the Polo Label, so we decided to start there. Avant-Garde Americana is the new experimental approach to our timeless clothing.

The quality of the corduroy had to be on par with the accessories, which she had dedicated to her brother and producer, Finneas O’Connell. The Purple Label is home to the corduroy cap and the accessories.
